People that do really well in chemistry and understand it well, typically do good on the final exam and says that it’s easy. Because honestly, if you know your stuff really well, it IS pretty easy. However, for everyone else (anyone that doesn’t understand Gen Chem 100%), it is an incredibly difficult test.

Your percent score will be based on national percentile ranking. A score at the 50th percentile is, by definition, average. Therefore the percentile score must be scaled to reflect grading on a 100-point scale and be consistent with the grade cutoffs listed in the course syllabus. The ACS test will be worth 50 points.
